A small inline sensor reads every Papi Fish aquarium every fifteen minutes, and an AI compares each reading against the tank’s own history — so a slow drift that would only show up at the next visit gets flagged the same shift, often before the fish show it.

There is nothing to log into and nothing to watch. The sensor sits inline, the baseline learns over time, and the crew is the only person who hears about a flag.

Sensor reads your water
A small inline probe logs pH, temperature, ammonia, and filter flow every fifteen minutes — passive, silent, and tucked behind the tank so the office never notices it.

AI compares against a baseline
Each reading is checked against the historical pattern for that specific tank. A drift that would be invisible day-to-day becomes a clear, scored anomaly the moment it appears.

Crew is alerted before the fish show it
Flagged anomalies route straight to our maintenance crew along with the recommended on-site action — usually ahead of any visible change in the tank.
What it catches

The four issue classes the monitor is built to surface first — the ones that, caught late, turn a healthy tank into an emergency callout.
Ammonia spike
A sudden rise in ammonia after a missed water change or a stalled biological filter — caught within the same shift, not the next morning.
pH drift
A slow, sustained pH drift between weekly visits that would otherwise only show up on the next on-site test.
Filter slowdown
A drop in filter flow that signals a clogged intake or an aging media cartridge — flagged before water clarity degrades.
Temperature excursion
Tank temperature drifting outside the safe band for the stocked species, often the first sign of a failing heater or an HVAC change in the room.

The monitor is shipped as a beta add-on for active Papi Fish installations across Hong Kong. Tanks we did not build — and tanks outside our weekly maintenance schedule — are out of scope for now.
What it does
- Continuous pH, temperature, ammonia and filter-flow readings every 15 minutes.
- AI scoring of every reading against the historical baseline for that specific tank.
- Same-shift crew alert with a recommended on-site action.
- Weekly insight summary included in your maintenance log.
What it doesn’t replace
- Replaces neither your weekly maintenance visit nor the on-site water test.
- Does not diagnose fish disease — a sick fish still needs eyes on it.
- Does not retrofit non-Papi installations — coverage is limited to tanks we built.
- Does not run unattended during a power outage longer than the probe’s onboard battery.
